Facebook Film Will Also Be Available for VR Headsets
HBO has made an interactive 360 degree version of the opening credits for “Game of Thrones” to whet viewers’ appetites for the upcoming sixth season.
The film, which can be viewed on the show’s Facebook page, lets viewers explore Westeros using their mouse to view the iconic map from the titles from any angle. HBO also plans to make it available for Samsung Gear and Oculus Rift VR headsets.
HBO created the titles in conjunction with titles design studio Elastic, as well as Facebook and Oculus. Season six of the show kicks off on April 24.
