With over 20 years leading consumer marketing and eCommerce teams, driving platform enabling technologies and leading web development projects, Scott brings extensive B2C and B2B experience to the team.
With expertise in eCommerce strategy, platform development, business development, SEO, SEM, Email Marketing, Affiliate programs and vendor selection/management Scott has previously held titles as the Director of eCommerce at 5.11 Tactical where he oversaw all aspects of launching the 5.11 Tactical Direct to Consumer business 511tactical.com, overcoming integration issues with legacy systems and a major channel conflict with their wholesale distributers. Mr. Holder sold in the strategy to the executive team, managed the platform selection process, developed the technology roadmap and rolled out highly successful Email, SEO, SEM and Affiliate Marketing programs. His efforts led to launching the new web platform in less than 10 months and achieving Google PageRank of 5 and 600% growth in 2 years.
Scott has been offsite working on a long term project for the past year, but still is engaged in numerous advisory roles with ongoing projects here at The Page Group.
Bob and Scott got introduced when Scott served as Dir. of Merchandising, Dir. of Program management and Director of Traffic at Shopping.com. He was responsible for pioneering keyword farming strategies from product searches at parent company AltaVista.com, resulting in driving Shopping.com’s ranking among shopping portals to #3 behind only Yahoo and AOL.
Earlier Scott was Product Manager and then Marketing Manager for Compaq’s $2B Presario product line. Holder has a BS, Magna Cum Laude, from the Univ of Baltimore.
